A wander this morning back from Much Hadham along the River Ash. Not too much to report apart from a large, migratory flock of fieldfares, starlings and redwings. In total, I estimated in excess of 400 birds, 250+ fieldfares, 100 starlings and 50 redwings. All clearly on the move and a flock that has not been present before.
Several common buzzards, a kestrel and 3 mallards over made the morning list but apart from finches, tits, wood pigeons, corvids and yellowhammers, very little else.
