A sparrow hawk overhead had all the martins screaming and whitethroats, chiffchaffs and blackcaps were in good numbers. However, a stunning male yellow wagtail near Broken Green was the undoubted highlight. Several red legged partridge, skylarks and finches and tits also observed. A wonderful walk in good sunlight.
