Town to home: a good wander

Following a Costa coffee I took my first wander home from town since being ill. Not too much on the bird front, with whitethroat and blackcaps regularly heard and seen along with a single garden warbler. At least 4 buzzards, a red kite and kestrel overhead and yellowhammers in hedgerows. A bullfinch flew across Green Street hamlet.
Along the lane here a good selection of common vergeside flowering plants, shown below.
