After torrential rain during Saturday afternoon, I was not expecting a great moth night, and so it proved.
New for the year were maiden's blush and iron prominent in the macros and
Recurvaria leucatella, Aphelia paleana and
Acrobsis ardvenella in the micros.
Everything else, riband waves, footmen, yellow underwings, red twin spot carpet etc, as usual, apart from a dagger species, grey or dark. They are inseparable without dissection. This one heard of this and promptly legged it
