New for my records was a maple pug and, amazingly, a rare micro for Herts, with only 1 record up until 2006, Acrolepiopsis assectella. New for the year were small rivulet, Endotricha flammealis, Plutella xylostella + plenty yet to identify were new for year micros. On the macro front: dark barred twin spot carpet, ruby tiger, common rustic, lesser common rustic, broad bordered yellow underwing, lesser broad bordered yellow underwing, magpie, dingy footman, yellowshell and pale prominent were all new for year. This takes my totals for this year to 162 macro species and 72+ micros.
