The moths keep coming!!
Another night of moth mayhem. In all 123 moths of 59 species, with a few awaiting confirmation. New for my parish records: Spilonota laricana (TBC) and Pammene fasciana whilst Yponomeuta malinellus (TBC) Ypsolopha scabrella, lesser yellow underwing and Acleris holmiana were all new for the year. Total moths recorded this year now up to 1992! Edit: confirmed NOT Spinolata laricana but the more common Spinolata ocellana
