New rare micro

Over 40 species and 100+ insects at the trap at 5.15 this morning. Upon arrival I was met by my companion, the juvenile robin (photo 1) now moulting into aduly plumage. How many it had taken before I got there will never be known. Numbers supplied by 5 willow beauties (photo 2), 14 riband wave ( photo 3 showing both forms), 7 mother of pearl, 13 large yellow underwing, 7 common rustic, 4 dingy footman, 4 lesser broad bordered yellow underwing and 3 ruby tiger.
More seldom seen moths were dagger species, only identifiable after dissection, (photo 4), an early thorn (5) and a knotgrass (6)
A new micro, Yponomeuta plumbella, was a good find. Rare in Herts. the only area it being found being around Bishop's Stortford, some 3 miles east of the village. Only 16 records between 1834 and 2004. Photo 7 has been forwarded to the county recorder.
