A cold frosty morning gave way to a beautiful sunny day by 9a.m. A walk across the golf course and along the Ash Valley. Usual sights, in all 26 species of bird. Photos here of the mandarin ducks that are showing interest in a dead ash, a singing wren and 2 photos of a common buzzard being mobbed by a carrion crow. Finally, a shot of the footbridge over the Ash at the southern point of the parish boundary.
