All usual suspects on offer this evening, with several kestrels being observed. Chiffchaffs now have arrived in good numbers, with 12 being heard tonight. A report of swallows being seen was received, but I, as yet, have not seen any. Skylarks called over the golfcourse and mallards and moorhens were on the pits, as was the nesting canada goose. A pair of common buzzards were circling over Bush Wood.
Photos here show a typical spring scene, a house sparrow at The Ford, a singing male great tit, a common buzzard and the golf course kestrel.
