Insect hunting in Stocking Wood

 Over 4 hours in Stocking Wood. Recorded many new species for this ancient woodland as I endeavour to record everything I can find.

Today, added Whitethroat and Mistle thrush to the bird list along with a few beetle species, a new bug and a spider. Also, 1 plant in flower that I believe to be Bush Vetch.

Xysticus christatus judging by the spines on the 1st tibia.

Leaf mine of Aurella stigmella, micro moth on bramble.

Badister bullatus, found on the way home.

Subcoccinella viqintiquattourpunctata, 24 spot ladybird. Tiny, on a grass blade. Also on the way home.
