Trust you had a wonderful Easter weekend? Weather was fantastic and I managed to spend most of it outside trying to add to my nature list from our small garden. Now over 100 species of insects and birds.
This morning I received an email from Adam Howard who works for Active in the Community and he requested I spread the word about some active ideas for all age groups to become involved in. So, today, why not check this site https://www.activeeastherts.org.uk/whats-on/
There is so much here, it is timetabled brilliantly and gives all the information as to times, where to find it etc. A really useful guide. Adam also asks that I get it to as many residents as possible, so please do copy the link, either directly or forward the link to this blog message to as many as possible.

Have an active day and have a check on any flowering plants in your garden for insects. Apple and pear blossom is now attracting plenty. Wait until the blossom is in full sun as this will be the most likely time to find bees and hoverflies. Photos most welcome, so do send them in.
