3 New moths for year
A very quiet evening at the trap last night meant I was non expectant as I opened the trap at 6.30 this morning. However, better than I imagined, with both square spot clay and orange swift being new for year records. Even better though was a brown, insignificant moth, just showing 2 sets of small dark dots, which I recognised as one that was unfamiliar to me. However, on closer inspection, a third dot was visible, making it a mouse moth. .
