2500th moth for the year!

A cracking night for moths, with a little rain at about 2.00a.m. and again at 6.30a.m. In all 76 moths of 23 macro species and 16 micros. 2 new for year macros were tawny speckled pug and rosy rustic whilst new micros were Yponomeuta plumbella and Amblyptilia acanthadactyla (beautiful plume.)
Another landmark was reached when a wormwood pug (below) became my 2500th moth trapped in the garden this year.
