red Kites

I received a phone call from a resident of the village saying that the hay in a field near home was being cut and that there were plenty of birds overhead. I wandered round to encounter 1 kestrel, 2 common buzzards, 4 red kites and numerous corvids. Great views of the kites as they swooped low over the newly mown hay.
