Below is a list of the birds from my recent trip to Tavira, Lagos and Castro Verde, including a brief watch from Faro station over the Rio Formosa.: in red and bold shows lifers for Portugal. Black bellied sandgrouse is a lifer for anywhere. A list in excess of 220 now posted for the whole of Portugal, as from first trip in 1999.
