A colder night meant a dramatic fall in numbers this morning. A mint condition green carpet (photo 1) was one of three trapped, the other two being faded specimens. Several forms of square spot rustic (2 and 3) were evident and a straw underwing also made a welcome appearance (4.) The rest were mainly yellow underwing agg, riband wave and a couple of spectacles.
