Busy moth trap

In excess of 100 moths this morning, made up of 38 species. New for the year were copper underwing, black arches (photo 1) and red twin spot carpet (2.) Also not rgularly seen were dotted border wave and common wave. Micros were carcina quercana (new for the garden, photo 3,) large fruit tree tortrix (4) and red barred tortrix (5.) Numbers supplied by 25+ common footman, 14 common rustic of 3 varieties, 6 mother of pearl, 10 riband wave, 5 large yellow underwing and 4 lesser broad bordered yellow underwing.
