Last night I tool several members of Bishop's Stortford camera club out for a local photo wander. The area around Hadham Hall seemed most appropriate as there maybe stuff around the ponds and lagoon. A grey heron, moorhen and bee orchid were all photogrphed in very poor light. The highlight was watching the local barn owls returning to the tree hole with field mice. Many photos taken, but again poor light meant no clear shots. I include 2 of my own here, no more than record shots. Also over the lagoon 40 swift and 10+ house martins. A pleasant session in the local followed.
