Out early this morning, no moths, grey sky and cold air! A wander around a few lanes gave views of over 20 bird species, with whitethroats, blackcaps and yellowhammers all singing. Several gulls (black headed and lesser black backed) lazed overhead and skylarks sang over the golf course.
Last night gave heavy rain and thunder with strange light as shown in the photos of the back garden. This morning also offered a strange orangey glow before the greyness folllowed. Also, photos of swallow, linnet, hares and 2x yellowhammer
