Popped out for a late night smoke into the garden last night. Air was sharp but surprised to read the temp shown on the northerly facing thermometer. See attached snap. Temperature read -14C!! Just for the record, 10 waxwings were discovered in Bishop's Stortford this morning. No camera but brilliant birds to see. Directions can be found at
